The book "The outsiders" by S.E. Hinton it's about a boy named Ponyboy that is in a gang with his brothers and friends. Ponyboy has a different set of life than other teenager. He goes through gang fights, family problems, and lives different.
In the book "The outsiders" by S.E Hinton Ponyboy doesn't have parents he only has his brothers and his gang the "greasers" .For example,in the book the greasers the treat each other as a family, because one of the members named Johnny his parents don't care about him,but the greasers really care about him and don't want anything to happen to him. Another example, is that Ponyboy and his brother Sodapop had a fight throughout the story, because Ponyboy got jumped by two people and never told Sodapop about it. Ponyboy left out the house and never came back for two days without telling him where he was going.
In the book "The outsiders" by S.E. Hinton Ponyboy gets into gang fights with other gangs. For example, in the book Ponyboy and the gang gets into trouble/fights. Ponyboy always joins in,but he never knows why the gang has to fight with the other gang. In the end of every fight Ponyboy always asks why they were fighting and there reasonpond will always be "I was mad" or "just for fun".
In the book "The outsiders" by S.E. Hinton Pony boy lives different than teenager/family. For example, in the book Ponyboy doesn't go to school, because he doesn't care anymore about school and he got into drugs. Another example, is his both parents weren't there for him and his brothers,Sodapop has to take care of them and be a "father".
In this essay I have talked about how Ponyboy's teenager life is different
by other teenagers out there.
